  • Tailor training to your district's needs

  • Craft your communication plan for teachers, staff, students and parents

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of documentation is provided for your student awareness and response training?

For students who take the course on our e-learning platform, McGrath provides a detailed report that makes it easy for you to show course completion. The completion report including the student's name, email, course completion date, and the name of the course they completed. We also provide detailed Information on the course they completed so you have everything you need should these records be required for an investigation.

Does the student awareness training support multiple languages? 

Videos are recorded in English, with subtitles available in up to 70 common languages from around the world.

Do you provide communication templates for sending to parents, staff and students for the McGrath Student Awareness Training? 

Yes. Our Implementation Manager will provide you with easy-to-use templates for communicating with your various stakeholders across the district. 

​

For your Student Awareness training, does a student need to watch the entire video lesson before moving on to the next?

Students are required to watch at least 90% of each video in a lesson before moving on to the next. 

​

How do the quizzes work for your Student Awareness Training?

Quizzes follow most videos to check student's learning. A student must get an 80% to pass a quiz and progress to the next lesson. A student is able to retake the quiz as many times as they need to in order to pass.

What can we customize for our district within McGrath's Student Awareness and Response course?

McGrath's launch manager will help support you every step of the process. Our team will work with you to configure our courses so they align with your district's policies and needs. We suggest considering the following customizations: 

  • Policies: We recommend adding links to your local policies (ie, Student Handbook, Code of Conduct, Acceptable Use Policy, etc) for students to review.

  • Local reporting information: We suggest including the contact info for whom to report concerns or complaints to, as well as a picture.

  • Leader's Welcome Message: We provide a sample script that makes it easy for your school or district leader to record a short 1-minute video welcome.

  • Subtitles: Your district can select up to 10 languages for video subtitles from a list of over 70 common languages from around the world.

  • Quizzes: Our team can add, change, or delete quiz questions as desired.
